Else Season Closing x DJ Koze

On 19 September 2026, DJ Koze will perform the Season Closing at Else in Berlin. Born in Flensburg and shaped by Hamburg, the producer and DJ began in the 1990s with the hip‑hop collective Fischmob, then moved through International Pony and increasingly into electronic territories as a solo artist. His interpretation of house and techno works with collages, rhythmic ruptures and a fondness for pop, hip‑hop and downtempo inflections, often with a subtle psychedelic sheen. On albums such as Music Is Okay, Amygdala and Knock Knock he opens the club structure to voices, songs and less linear dramaturgies; this approach is also reflected in his DJ sets. At the same time, Koze, together with Pampa Records, curates an environment for off‑kilter house concepts, electronica and hybrid formats.
