On 15 May 2026, Gewölbe in Köln hosts Âme Live with Frank Wiedemann stepping out of the studio for a hardware-led set. As cofounder of Innervisions and one half of the Karlsruhe duo, Wiedemann brings Âme’s language of Detroit-rooted techno, Chicago house swing, and soul and jazz inflections into a live format that favors spontaneity. Evolving arpeggios, restrained melodies and dense drum programming are shaped in real time, with motifs from the Âme catalogue surfacing and mutating as the set unfolds. It’s the facet of Âme where studio craft meets on-the-spot instinct, building tension and drawing the room into long, hypnotic arcs.
For the rest of the night, Marcus Worgull takes over with a deep, unhurried selection that keeps the Innervisions spirit in focus. Known for warm low-end, dubby textures and patient blends, he connects house, techno and leftfield cuts without forcing the pace. The groove breathes, transitions stretch, and the floor finds its balance. Two approaches, one throughline: detail, flow and a steady hand from booth to booth.
