On April 10, 2026 at 8:00 PM at Berghain, Courtesy’s Against Interpretation Club once again puts performers at the center who conceive of the dancefloor as a space for sonic deconstruction. Broodoo Ramses operates at the intersection of hardcore continuity and decolonial sound design. His sets are less a linear flow than a rhythmic confrontation, where fragments of baile funk collide with Jersey-club and voguing beats meet industrial harshness. FAUZIA brings a similar drive toward acceleration, albeit with different inflections. The Londoner has freed herself from the foundations of footwork and jungle to develop her own sonic language, using speed as an emotional vehicle. Her productions and DJ sets are characterized by an aesthetic that channels the euphoria of old rave days into a contemporary form. The program is rounded out by Belgian, Berlin-based DJ Eline, resident DJ at Antwerp club Dramatik Festival.
