Parra for Cuva

On 29 September 2026 at Docks in Hamburg: Parra for Cuva, the project of Berlin-based producer Nicolas Demuth, originally from Göttingen. Since the early 2010s he has been shaping melodic electronica at the crossroads of deep house, downtempo and ambient. With “Wicked Games,” alongside Anna Naklab, he came to the attention of the club scene in 2013. His debut album “Majouré” (2015) revealed the foundations of his sound: supple rhythms, delicate textures and harmonic depth. This was followed by “Darwīš” (2016) with Senoy, before “Paspatou” (2018) and “Juno” (2021) pushed repetitive piano, processed guitars and motifs from various musical cultures further into the foreground. “Mimose” (2023) links house structures with cinematic ambient and neoclassical touches.

Live, Parra for Cuva moves between electronic sets and hybrid formats. He translates his richly detailed studio productions into flowing arrangements that carry groove and melody without losing their subtleties. At Docks he will perform current tracks and selected pieces from his catalogue — a sound that admits club energy while leaving room for nuance.
