The London-based producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist has moved since the mid-2010s between house, disco, boogie, broken beat and jazz-funk. His tracks rely on organic textures: rounded basslines, warm keys, percussive details and soulful hooks, always with a clear club DNA. Through EPs and remixes—many released on Toy Tonics—he has developed a signature that casually unites groove and musicality.

In recent years Currie has steered his songwriting more toward vocal formats without abandoning the dancefloor. Collaborations with singers and instrumentalists from the soul, house and broken-beat scenes have shaped this evolution. His 2023 album Lucas condenses this into a fluid mix of housey rhythms, disco hues, jazz nuances and pop-soul.
