LEHMANN Schranznacht on 18.04.2026 at the Lehmann Club in Stuttgart: In Verruf takes over. The alias of the techno project Dance or Die taps into the DNA of Schranz and translates it into a straightforward, high-tempo floor sound. Dry kicks, crisply placed hi-hats and mechanical loops drive the pulse, while reduced motifs build up layer by layer. The focus is on repetition, pressure and timing, less on melodies – an aesthetic that uses the room as an instrument.
Between industrial-tinged textures, subtle acid accents and tight breaks, long arcs of tension emerge. Transitions remain fluid, the energy constant and varied through fine details: filter sweeps, clinking percussion, offbeat surges. In Verruf works with clear structures and high tempo, crafting a set designed for physical presence and continuous drive – direct, raw, functional.
