For twenty years now, Blood Red Shoes have been exploring the possibilities of two-piece rock, forging a sound that is at once raw and melodic. Formed in Brighton by Laura-Mary Carter (guitar and vocals) and Steven Ansell (drums and vocals), the duo attracted attention for their energy and distinctive harmonies. Sometimes compared to the White Stripes or the Kills, they have carved out an identity in which punk, rock and electronic experimentation coexist. After a few years of hiatus and individual projects, the duo return in 2026 with new tracks entirely written, produced and mixed by themselves, and a live set blending classics with new material. The concert will take place on 5 October 2026 at 18:00 at Rock School Barbey.
