Picture This

Picture This stopped off at Den Atelier in Luxembourg on 22 October 2026. Formed in 2015 in Athy around Ryan Hennessy (vocals) and Jimmy Rainsford (drums), later joined by Owen Cardiff (guitar) and Cliff Deane (bass), the band emerged with “Take My Hand” and followed with an EP and a series of albums that hone a blend of pop and alternative rock. On stage Hennessy’s voice remains front and center, supported by melodic choruses, mid- and up-tempo rhythms and lyrics about relationships, everyday life and very personal doubts.

The concert spans their different periods, from the self-titled first album to MDRN LV and Life in Colour, up to tracks from Parked Car Conversations (2024). The set alternates between ballads and more direct songs, clean guitars, crisp rhythms and choral build-ups, with particular care for the melodies. Their straightforward, accessible songwriting — the hallmark of their identity — sits between luminous pop and rock touches, balanced between new material and standout tracks. An evening to take in the band’s evolution, without artifice and close to their songs.
