Celtic Legends

On 14 April 2026, Celtic Legends steps onto the stage of the Atlantia Conference and Festival Centre in La Baule. Born in Galway, in the heart of Connemara, the production blends Irish dance and Celtic music in a new version conceived for the stage. On stage, five acoustic musicians under the direction of Sean McCarthy perform live in dialogue with twelve dancers led by Jacintha Sharpe, combining precise footwork, group choreography and solos.

Reels, jigs and ballads follow one another, alternating instrumental surges and melodic interludes, recreating the atmosphere of a traditional pub evening. Nearly three million people have already taken this journey since the project's inception, and the company returns in 2026 with refreshed arrangements and a tempo designed to keep the audience close to the action. Two hours that tell Ireland’s story through its rhythms, its steps and its direct musicality, driven by the energy of live performance.
