Yael Naïm

Yael Naïm will perform in concert on 11 December 2026 at the Espace Culturel Jean Jacques Robert Orangerie in Mennecy. A Franco-Israeli singer-songwriter who was introduced to the wider public by “New Soul” in 2007, she has since carved a clear path between folk and pop, supported by precise songwriting and a voice that favors harmonies. From her beginnings in Israel to albums crafted with great care, she has consolidated a singular sound alongside percussionist and producer David Donatien, with spare, acoustic and rhythmic arrangements.

On stage, Yael alternates between piano and guitar, moves between English and Hebrew, and creates atmospheres that let the songs breathe. The set draws from her repertoire, from her signature tracks to more intimate ballads, with constant attention to textures and to the interplay of percussion. Without unnecessary effects, the music moves forward in service of melody, backing vocals and a subtle groove. A chance to rediscover the delicate craftsmanship that characterizes her records and the live dimension of her songs, shaped as much for the stage as for quiet listening.
