Info
On May 5, 2026, Yael Naïm took the stage at the Théâtre d'Abbeville in Abbeville for a concert focused on her sensitive songwriting and pared-back arrangements. A Franco-Israeli singer-songwriter who broke through in 2007 with “New Soul,” she has shaped a singular repertoire in both English and Hebrew, nourished by her collaboration with percussionist and producer David Donatien. Born in Paris and raised in Israel, she began composing early, passed through an initial band, The Anti Collision, and then built her career album by album—from the home-recorded, handcrafted project Yael Naïm & David Donatien to She Was a Boy—exploring an intimate pop-folk carried by piano, guitar and delicate percussion.
On stage, Yael Naïm favors intimacy and the depth of sonic textures. Her signature songs appear alongside more recent pieces, in versions that play with dynamics, backing vocals and counter-melodies. Between whispers and more rhythmic surges, she unfolds a musical thread that spans the years without losing its sense of melody or its attention to detail. An evening to enter the heart of her songs and their craft, up close with the performance.
