Girls in Hawaï

Girls in Hawaïi will be performing on November 7, 2026 at Le 106 in Rouen. Formed in the early 2000s near Braine-l’Alleud, the Belgian band has since carved a clear line between indie rock and melodic pop sung in English. Driven by the voices and guitars of Antoine Wielemans and Lionel Vancauwenberghe, their songs balance crisp guitars, understated keyboards and supple rhythms, with a melancholy that runs through their writing. From From Here to There and Plan Your Escape to Everest, Nocturne and Hello Strange, their path has shifted toward more atmospheric and electronic textures without losing its sense of melody.

On stage, Girls in Hawaïi favor the dynamics of the collective: two voices answering one another, arrangements that can be spare or more electric depending on the piece, and restrained climaxes rather than flashy showmanship.
