The Dark Side of the Moon

On 28 February 2027 at the Théâtre Sébastopol in Lille, The Dark Side of the Moon brings to the stage four musicians drawn from Feuerschwanz, Amaranthe and Ad Infinitum: Melissa Bonny, Hans Platz, Jenny Diehl and Morten Løwe Sørensen. The project formed around melodic metal that intersects folk, symphonic and power elements, with dense arrangements, crisp guitars and a pronounced rhythmic drive, while leaving Melissa’s voice at the center. Their playground is to reinvent themes from film, television series and video games, while slipping in a few original compositions. Since their beginnings in the early 2020s and the release of the album Metamorphosis in 2023, the quartet has honed a clear identity, informed by the narrative imagery of soundtracks and by direct, accessible song formats. In Lille, one can expect a set that mixes reworked covers and original material, conceived for a tight, immediate live show at the crossroads of the European folk metal and symphonic metal scenes.
