Nicoletta continues her 2025/26 Les Acoustiques Gospel tour and will set up her performance on April 12, 2026 at Espace La Maillette in Locminé. Carried by a deep, warm voice, she revisits her repertoire in an acoustic setting where French chanson meets gospel and Negro spiritual. Her signature songs—"Il est mort le soleil," "Mamy Blue," "Un homme," "Liberté mon amour"—are rearranged with a soulful pulse, echoing the long-standing connection she has had with this music. A nod to Ray Charles, who had recorded "Il est mort le soleil," recalls this bridge between worlds. She also draws on the African-American repertoire with "Oh Happy Day," "Amazing Grace," "Nobody Knows" and "Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho," and slips in tributes to Brel and Piaf. William Sheller’s songs of hope find a natural place here, followed by an American interlude centered on "Summertime." The program closes with Gounod’s "Ave Maria" as the finale.
