Splendid

Splendid bring fresh Mundart-pop impulses to the stage: the duo of Michael Egger, singer-songwriter of Jeans for Jesus, and producer/composer Levin Lucca Dennler (also active with Hainan) combines precise, melodic songwriting with contemporary production and references to rap, indie pop and chanson. Two paths that have already left their mark on the Swiss scene meet here: Egger shook up dialect pop with Jeans for Jesus, while Dennler has worked with German‑language pop and hip‑hop artists such as Trettmann, CRO, Stereo Luchs and Bonez MC.

The songs by Splendid were created between several Swiss cities and Berlin and audibly embody this collective approach. Live, the project appears in an expanded lineup, giving the tracks greater dynamism and a strong ensemble feel. The debut album SPLENDID was released in 2024, featuring contributions from Faber, Stereo Luchs and Anina Shona, and underscores the duo’s focus on direct, clear pop songs in the local language, carried by smooth arrangements and a palpable group tension.

On 13 September 2026 Splendid will perform at Dynamo Werk 21 in Zürich.
