Trixie Whitley

On November 25, 2026, Trixie Whitley took the stage at the Supersonic in Paris. There she presented Folded Time, a nine-track album shaped as an intimate journey where loss, reframing and rebirth intertwine. Between burdensome memories and the joy of the present, she moves forward by dismantling and reconstructing her story through taut, spare and deeply felt songs. Relationships, politics, motherhood and the shifts they produce within permeate these new compositions, written as a lucid dialogue with thoughts long kept at bay.

Born in Ghent and raised between Belgium and New York, Trixie Whitley has, since the start of her career, forged a blend of rock, soul, blues, folk and dark pop, carried by a forthright timbre and stripped-back arrangements. After her time with Black Dub, Daniel Lanois’s project with Brian Blade and Daryl Johnson, she went on to chart a solo course with Fourth Corner, Porta Bohemica and Lacuna. On stage, her vocal presence remains the center of gravity: slow groove, rhythmic tension and atmospheric textures create a space where each song breathes. At the Supersonic, she unveils this new material while connecting it to a repertoire that knows how to go straight to the heart without overstatement.
