Stephan Eicher

Stephan Eicher returns with Poussière d’Or, a repertoire born on a piano stool with a guitar on his knees. From these sketches came melodies carried by texts from longtime friends Philippe Djian and Martin Suter. Played for other collaborators, these seeds took shape as more hands joined in, until they became an album that calls out for the stage. On 25 November 2026 at the Théâtre Sébastopol in Lille, Eicher shares them live, in a format where the intimate mixes with a collective drive.

On stage, you find that blend of folk, pop rock and songs in half-light that runs through his career, with a way of letting the arrangements breathe and creating closeness without grandstanding. The new tracks line up with older pieces, in a back-and-forth that allows eras and languages to converse. A concert conceived like a warm loaf of bread placed in the middle of the table: songs written to be played, offered as they are, with a taste for the simple and the direct.
