La Bomba de Tiempo

La Bomba de Tiempo arrives in Barcelona on October 6, 2026, at Sala Razzmatazz. This Argentine percussion collective turns the live show into a laboratory of rhythm and improvisation: more than ten musicians on stage, guided by a director who, through a system of hand signals, cues entrances, cuts, dynamics and variations. Each gesture reconfigures the pulse and constructs pieces in real time, in constant dialogue with the audience.

Their sound draws on Afro‑Latin and urban roots: candombe, samba‑reggae, funk, hip hop, and polyrhythms that invite movement and sustain a tension between repetition and surprise. La Bomba treats the ensemble as a single instrument, with layers that build up and dissolve on the fly, and onstage communication that spills onto the dance floor.

With nearly two decades of history and their Monday residency at Ciudad Cultural Konex in Buenos Aires, the group has toured South America and Europe, honing a format that changes every night. At Razzmatazz they will present that ritual of live, participatory percussion, where the music happens here and now.
