SPRINTS arrives in Madrid on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Galileo Galilei. From Dublin, the quartet consolidates a rough post‑punk sound fed by garage and indie echoes, with Karla Chubb’s voice and guitar at the forefront, backed by Colm O’Reilly, Sam McCann and Jack Callan. Their formula is direct: concise riffs, tense rhythms and songs built for the immediacy of the stage.
After an initial run of singles, the EP Manifesto (2021, Nice Swan) placed them on the independent circuit in Ireland and the UK. A Modern Job (2022) sharpened their songwriting with clearer melodies and lyrics rooted in the everyday, in politics and in personal identity. In 2024, Letter to Self (City Slang) widened the spectrum slightly without losing its pulse: saturated guitars, compact structures and a delivery that sits between spoken word and song, sustaining intimate storytelling and social observation.
At Galileo Galilei they will present that journey, mixing post‑punk tension with melodic lines that stay with you from the first listen. A set that looks to their most recent releases without forgetting the songs that put them on the road, with the live‑room energy that has defined the band from the start.
