Terence Fixmer + Rubén Seoane

Terence Fixmer, producer and DJ from the French techno scene, will perform on April 15, 2026 at 21:59 at Moog Barcelona. Active for more than two decades, he is known for a blend of emotional depth and musical integrity. His career began with the debut album Muscle Machine in 1999 on DJ Hell’s International Deejay Gigolos label, associated with the “Techno Body Music” style. Tracks such as “Electrostatic” and “Body Pressure” have become techno classics.

In 2002, Fixmer formed Fixmer/McCarthy with Douglas McCarthy of Nitzer Ebb. Their album Between the Devil and their live performances placed them within the techno-EBM scene. His fusion of techno and industrial electronics established a distinctive approach within the genre. As a solo artist, Fixmer has released on labels such as Electric De Luxe, Prologue and CLR. His albums Comedy of Menace and Depth Charged demonstrate an evolution within a personal sonic identity. In 2015 he joined Ostgut Ton with the reissue of Aktion Mekanik. Alongside releases such as the LP Through the Cortex, he consolidated his trajectory. He has produced remixes for Depeche Mode, Ellen Allien and others. His collaboration with Thomas Cohen on tracks like “Braid” and “Chain of Love” for Mute Records reflects the breadth of his work. In 2022 he debuted on Mute Records with Shifting Signals.

Rubén Seoane has been a resident DJ at Moog Club since 2012, where he has shared the booth with prominent national and international names. A vinyl collector for more than fifteen years, he is characterized by an open, exploratory vision of techno and club electronic music.

His sets span a wide range of genres—techno, acid, electro, industrial and experimental styles—always with a fluid and attentive approach to maintaining energy and surprise on the dancefloor.

With an established presence at Moog, Rubén Seoane brings depth and eclecticism to the club’s programming, creating atmospheres that probe the underground sound.
