El Sótano marks its anniversary on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 21:59 with a night of fun, color and eclecticism:
Matías Aguayo:
Producer, composer, performer, record label manager and DJ, Matías Aguayo is a cosmopolitan musician both by biography and by choice. Periods of life and work in Berlin, Paris, Buenos Aires and Mexico City have helped shape a dynamic, forward-looking artistic persona that bridges electronic music and other disciplines. He can be associated with the group of Chilean musicians prominent on the German electronic scene who established their base in Europe in the 1990s (Ricardo Villalobos, Dandy Jack, Dinky, among others), but by now his work has moved toward an interdisciplinary and cross-genre creative path (also drawing on popular song). In 2009 he founded the Cómeme label, which promotes Latin American sounds. His recordings and shows to date have brought him into contact with artists such as Lucrecia Dalt, Battles, Djs Pareja, Vicente Sanfuentes, Atom Heart, Bronko Yotte and Mostro, among others. As a musician living abroad, Matías Aguayo has performed live in Chile only sporadically.
Rigo Pex aka Meneo:
Rigo Pex is the producer known as Meneo, who has moved on from the Game Boy and that lo-fi electropical sound that took him to various festivals. He now offers an homage to pop culture, revisiting unexpected corners of the Spanish psyche thanks to his outsider perspective. The Guatemalan artist has unearthed hits from the collective imagination with a whirlwind of urban, electronic and Latin sounds, presenting retro-futuristic edits and remixes born of his musicologist’s appreciation for the Ibero-American heritage we all share.
Savanna:
DJ and producer, she celebrates her Latin American roots through electronic music. Born in Buenos Aires and raised in the Bolivian Amazon, her tribal sound fuses the intensity of Buenos Aires with the organic pulse of the jungle.
Through progressive atmospheres, ancestral percussion and indigenous instruments, Savanna transforms each set into a ritual that moves from subtle to intense, playing with genres that range from downtempo to progressive and techno. Her music has resonated in DJ booths in Berlin, Miami and Ibiza, and in places such as the heart of the Salar de Uyuni and on the slopes of a volcano.
