On 17 October 2026, Marienlyst Strandhotel in Helsingør hosts Burhan G, a Danish singer and songwriter who moves between R&B and pop. Raised in Brøndby Strand and trained with the Copenhagen Boys Choir, he first appeared as a backing vocalist, notably with hip-hop group Outlandish, before stepping into a solo path. His early albums, Playground (2004) and Breakout (2007), set an English-language R&B direction with a pop edge.
From 2010 he switched to Danish with the self-titled Burhan G, keeping the R&B base while opening up to broader pop melodies, working with Nik & Jay and Medina. The albums Din fortid er glemt (2013) and Pas på pigerne (2015) continued that line with direct, personal writing around relationships, set between electronic ballads and uptempo cuts. On stage, he draws on this catalogue with a set that moves from slow-burn melodies to sharper hooks, carried by clear, flexible vocals and concise songwriting.
