On 18 March 2026 at Pumpehuset in Copenhagen, Bodysnatcher leads a bill grounded in the newer deathcore sound. Formed in Melbourne, Florida in 2014, the band shapes slow, weighty tempos and beatdown‑leaning grooves into a palette of drop‑tuned riffs, abrupt rhythm shifts and a mostly screamed vocal. From the Abandonment EP (2015) and Death of Me (2017) to This Heavy Void (2020) and Bleed‑Abide (2022), their writing tightens around contrast and impact, with lyrics that face loss, frustration and everyday violence drawn from the culture of small rooms and pits.
Ingested, from Manchester, has been active since the mid‑2000s with a brutal death backbone coloured by slam and deathcore. Albums like Surpassing the Boundaries of Human Suffering (2009), The Architect of Extinction (2015) and The Level Above Human (2018) set their framework of massive riffing and serrated rhythms, later expanded on Where Only Gods May Tread (2020) and The Surreption II (2021). Ashes Lie Still (2022) folds in darker melodies and atmospheres without dropping the core aggression.
From the current US wave, Psycho‑Frame deals in dense, chugging riffs, jagged syncopation and emphatic breakdowns, switching between high screams and guttural lows. First visible online, the project has since settled into hardcore and metal circuits, favouring stop‑start builds, sudden accelerations and slowed passages that keep the focus on physical drive.
