Mathias Heise Orchestra

On July 8, 2026 at Bremen Teater in Copenhagen, Mathias Heise presents his Orchestra, a large-ensemble extension of the Danish chromatic harmonica player’s fusion-leaning jazz. Based in Copenhagen and born in 1993, Heise has shaped a personal approach to the chromatic harmonica where the instrument leads the band like a voice: articulated lines, agile register shifts, and a dialogue between precise writing and open sections.
