AySay

AySay plays Templet in Kongens Lyngby on 21 May 2026. Led by singer and composer Luna Ersahin, the Copenhagen-based trio builds everything around the voice: a clear melodic thread carried by subtle electronics, psych-tinged guitars and rhythm patterns close to alternative pop. On stage, the set moves between tightly written songs and more open passages where the voice takes the lead.

Luna writes and sings in Kurdish, Turkish, Danish and sometimes English, bringing together a family heritage from Anatolia and a Scandinavian musical upbringing. The trio folds Anatolian melodic turns into Nordic atmospheres without pastiche, letting the blend surface in grooves, drones and unhurried harmonies that sit naturally live. The lyrics address multiple identities, ties between generations and everyday experiences of the diaspora, while staying anchored in an accessible song format. Since the late 2010s, AySay has shaped this hybrid language across clubs and festivals in Denmark and elsewhere; at Templet, they bring that balance of folk traces, contemporary jazz openness and pop-adjacent sensibility to the room.
