With Christmas Gospel 2026, Anders Blichfeldt brings the voice and songwriting that shaped Big Fat Snake into a seasonal set rooted in gospel cadence and understated groove. Active on Danish stages since the late 80s, the singer-guitarist moves between direct pop-rock, blues-tinged lines and intimate folk storytelling. Here, he draws on that range to revisit Christmas songs and spirituals and to weave in personal pieces, keeping the focus on melody, pulse and the grain of the voice. In a theatre context, arrangements stay lean, lyrics come forward, and dynamics slide from hushed to driving with clear contours. Writing in English and Danish over the years, he keeps themes close to everyday relationships and small shifts of life, a thread that carries naturally into a winter program. The concert takes place on 1 December 2026 at Nykøbing F. Teater in Nykøbing Falster, Denmark.
