Dua Saleh brings the Of Earth & Wires Tour to Gretchen in Berlin on July 7, 2026. Rooted in Minneapolis and shaped by an early career as a poet and spoken-word performer, Dua Saleh moves between rap, alternative R&B and shaded experimental pop. The songs shift organically between spoken delivery, melodic singing and rap-like phrasing. Lyrically they address identity and belonging, gender, the Sudanese diaspora, spirituality and power relations — with direct language and a strong rhythmic focus.

Through the EPs Nūr (2019), Rosetta (2020) and Crossover (2021), Dua Saleh has outlined a precise sonic field: dark, melodic atmospheres, electronically driven grooves and multilayered vocals. Live, these elements condense into a direct, pared-down yet intense set in which text and timbre determine the tone. Regular collaborations with producers from the local Minneapolis scene keep the sound flexible and receptive to nuance.

Alongside the music, Dua Saleh gained visibility through the role of Cal in the series Sex Education — another junction between music, image and narrative that informs the stage performance without overloading it.
