Roxeanne Hazes

On 20 August 2026 Roxeanne Hazes will perform at Caprera in Bloemendaal. She brings Dutch-language songs that blend pop, soul and contemporary R&B, with lyrics focused on family, relationships and the search for your own place. In her set she moves smoothly from small, vulnerable moments to more driving numbers, featuring material from her debut In mijn bloed and the singles that followed. The emphasis is on memorable melodies and stories that feel close to home, without hiding the roots of the Dutch song tradition.

Roxeanne grew up with her father André Hazes’s repertoire and took her first steps in the levenslied (the traditional Dutch sentimental song). Over time she moved toward her own pop signature: modern in sound, personal in expression. Since In mijn bloed (2017) she has worked with producers from the pop and urban scenes, bringing together warm keyboards, tight beats and classic songwriting structures. On stage she highlights the tension between tradition and the present, between intimately singable moments and rhythmically driven material. An evening at Caprera that sums up her trajectory and looks ahead, in clear Dutch and delivered straightforwardly.
