Calema, the duo of brothers António and Fradique Mendes Ferreira, returns to France with a live show that crosses the shores of the Lusophone world. Born in São Tomé and Príncipe and based between Portugal and France, they lend their voices to an Afro‑Lusophone pop that blends afrobeat, pop and echoes of island traditions. Their songs in Portuguese tell stories of bonds, distance and travel, carried by tight harmonies and supple rhythms that invite movement without overstating it.
Having gained attention with widely shared tracks, including "Te Amo", the duo celebrated its 15th anniversary with the album Voyage, a record tinged with Afro and Latin accents that extended their presence on European stages. On stage, Calema alternates ballads and danceable numbers and emphasizes connection with the audience, balancing instantly catchy melodies with a warm groove.
