Suzan & Freek

Suzan & Freek will be at Caprera in Bloemendaal on 1 August 2026. The Dutch duo, made up of singer and keyboardist Suzan Stortelder and guitarist and singer Freek Rikkerink, hail from the Achterhoek and write Dutch-language pop with a light folk touch. What began as short, reimagined covers online has grown into original songs built around guitar, piano and two-part harmonies.

Live they perform as a duo with a band, offering compact arrangements and lyrics that stay close to everyday life. Expect songs like “Als het avond is,” which marked their move into original material, alongside tracks from the albums Gedeeld door ons and Dagen van goud. The set ranges from intimate ballads to midtempo numbers, with melodies that immediately captivate and harmonies that carry the story.

At Caprera, Suzan & Freek will present their mix of songs about relationships, small observations and relatable moments, in a sound that leans heavily on guitar and piano and remains close to the Dutch singer-song tradition.
