Bruno Mars is coming to Amsterdam with The Romantic Tour, on 5 July 2026 at the Johan Cruijff ArenA. The singer, songwriter and performer from Hawaii grew up in a musical family, moved to Los Angeles after finishing school, and broke through in 2010 through collaborations such as “Nothin’ on You” with B.o.B and “Billionaire” with Travie McCoy. His debut album Doo-Wops & Hooligans put him on the map immediately with “Just the Way You Are,” followed by Unorthodox Jukebox and years of intense touring with a tight live band.
On this tour he once again explores the crossroads of pop, soul, funk and R&B, with ear-catching melodies, rich harmonies and forward-driving rhythms. In recent years he also teamed up with Anderson .Paak as Silk Sonic, a project that noticeably sharpened his affection for the seventies sound. Expect a set that draws from his catalogue, from early breakthroughs to more recent favorites, performed with attention to groove, backing vocals and arrangement. The Romantic Tour is about songs that carry you away and a performance that can think big without losing sight of the details — precisely the scale that comes to life in the ArenA.
