Patson dans Baltazar

On April 19, 2026 at République (Paris), Patson presents Baltazar, a direct stand-up set in which he strings together uncensored jokes and cultivates a close rapport with the audience. An observer of everyday life, he seizes people’s foibles and turns them inside out with his blunt delivery, combining slang, verlan (French backslang) and rhythms drawn from Afro‑Caribbean stages. His material moves between the Ivory Coast, the Antilles and mainland France—family, work, the streets of Paris—always in the moment. The refrains “Yes Papa” and his footwork act as winks to launch improvisation and raise the energy, in a frontal, fast‑paced, American‑style format.

Spotted at the Jamel Comedy Club, Patson built his style on tchatche—his gift of the gab—and on interaction with the audience. Through radio, film and long stretches on stage, he has honed a taut tempo: short punchlines, constant interaction, direct address. With Baltazar he continues this blend of observation and controlled derailments, carried by a pared‑down stage presence with no set: just a microphone, the room, and the desire to skewer current events as well as the small scenes of everyday life.
