Info
On 3 March 2026 Audrey Hobert is scheduled to perform at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. The American singer-songwriter (born 1999) builds her pop around stories and lines that linger, navigating between vulnerable ballads and more direct choruses. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts at NYU (2021) she began working behind the scenes: as an assistant at Warner Bros and as a writer for Nickelodeon’s The Really Loud House (2022–2024). In the meantime she moved closer to music through childhood friend Gracie Abrams: she co-wrote multiple songs on The Secret of Us (2024), including “That’s So True,” directed a few videos and occasionally joined Abrams on stage. A UMG publishing deal led to further songwriting contributions, such as “Start All Over” for Alessi Rose (EP For Your Validation, 2025), and to meeting producer Ricky Gourmet. In 2025 Hobert launched her solo career with “Sue Me,” followed by “Bowling Alley” and “Wet Hair,” and released her debut album Who’s the Clown? (RCA, 15 August) featuring tracks such as “Thirst Trap” and “Sex and the City.” She again shared the stage with Abrams at the Kia Forum and made her television debut on The Tonight Show on 20 October 2025. Live she presents a set that centers her sharp lyrical sensibility and the melodies from Who’s the Clown? and her early singles.
