KMFDM brings their Ultra Heavy Beat to life on 14 March 2027 at Patronaat, Haarlem. Founded in the mid-1980s by Sascha Konietzko, KMFDM grew into a flexible collective including En Esch, Raymond Watts, Günter Schulz, Lucia Cifarelli and Tim Skold. For decades the band has moved between Hamburg and the US, weaving together EBM rhythms, heavy guitar layers, techno and dance influences and carefully chosen samples. Vocals alternate between male and female, English and German, with lyrics that often sink their teeth into social and political themes. Live it’s all about pulse and detail: tight grooves, compact hooks and a sound that suits both club and concert-hall settings. Classics from eras such as What Do You Know, Deutschland?, Naïve, Angst, Nihil and Xtort sit seamlessly alongside more recent albums like Attak, Hau Ruck, Tohuvabohu, Hell Yeah and Hyëna.
