Son Mieux - 24 Hours Album Release Event

On 11 April 2026 Son Mieux will play De Wester in Amsterdam for the 24 Hours Album Release Event: a show in which the The Hague outfit led by singer-songwriter Camiel Meiresonne presents new album material live. The collective began as an indie-pop project and has grown into a larger ensemble from the local scene. Their sound leans on orchestral, alternative pop: guitars, strings, keyboards and a solid rhythm section combine with multi-part choral vocals, often built up in slow arcs of tension that culminate in choruses carried by Meiresonne’s voice.

On record and on stage, Son Mieux seeks a balance between folk, disco influences and contemporary pop, without abandoning their indie roots. Previous releases, from early EPs to the albums Faire de Son Mieux (2019) and The Mustard Seed (2021), portray a band committed to melody and a pronounced sense of collective identity. Live, they deliver rich arrangements and multiple voices that lift one another, with direct interplay with the audience. New material takes center stage, while the way Son Mieux performs at clubs and festivals in the Netherlands and beyond shapes the direction of the set.
