Hatsune Miku: Miku Expo 2026 Europe

Hatsune Miku: Miku Expo 2026 Europe will touch down at AFAS Live in Amsterdam on 15 November 2026. Hatsune Miku is not a flesh-and-blood singer, but a voice library and a virtual character, launched in 2007 by Crypton Future Media in Sapporo. Her voice is built from recordings of voice actress Saki Fujita and is used by producers worldwide with Vocaloid software to create J-pop, electro-pop, dance, rock, or EDM, often with a nod to anime and otaku culture. This has given rise to a large, community-driven repertoire, full of original tracks, remixes, and collaborations.

On stage Miku appears as a 3D projection, accompanied by live musicians. The show translates the online circuit of songs and visuals into a concert setting, where software, illustration, and pop music converge. She is not a traditional frontwoman, but a digital performer shaped collectively by creators and fans. Miku Expo is the international tour that makes that interplay visible and brings the energy of the Vocaloid scene into the venue.
