SKYND

On 6 April 2026 SKYND performs at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. The Australian project led by singer SKYND and producer Father moves between dark electro, industrial and pitch‑black pop. Their songs are built around true‑crime cases: titles carry the names of case files or people involved, the lyrics follow a narrative thread, and SKYND’s voice functions as a dramatic character in the sonic backdrop. Live, heavy electronic rhythms, abrasive textures and cinematic tensions pile up, with icy synth layers and spare hooks that tightly frame the stories.

The repertoire is collected in Chapters I, II and III, with tracks that seek the intersection between metal culture and electronic aesthetics, covering figures such as Gary Heidnik or Edmund Kemper. On stage the duo translates this concept into a compact, visually charged setup: beats in the foreground, vocals shifting between whisper, wail and cool, declamatory delivery, and a dramaturgy that opens each song like a new case file. Without sensationalism, but with precision in sound design and timing, SKYND unfolds the cases layer by layer, maintaining the tension throughout the performance.
