The Royston Club - Songs for the Spine Tour

On 20 May 2026, The Royston Club bring their Songs For The Spine Tour to the Badehaus Berlin. The quartet from Wrexham – Ben Matthias, Tom Faithfull, Dave Tute and Sam Jones – first made a name for themselves with early DIY demos and the 2021 single “Coasting” (Top 10 on the UK vinyl charts). Following their debut Shaking Hips and Crashing Cars, which entered the UK charts and took the band to festivals such as Glastonbury and Rock en Seine, attention now turns to their second album: Songs for the Spine.

Live, the band rely on direct melodies, tight arrangements and guitar riffs that get straight into the ear. The lyrics remain close to everyday life: accessible and straightforward. No retro posturing — compact indie rock with sharp edges and choruses that stick.

On stage the four play with precision, driving the tempo and alternating between pressure and brief respites. This evening presents The Royston Club where their songs belong: on stage, with energy, focus and enough space for the new tracks to unfold.
