Info
Unsane bring their uncompromising New York noise rock back to Berlin: on April 18, 2026, the trio will take the stage at the Maschinenhaus. With the reissue of Occupational Hazard in tow and a new EU/UK tour, the band led by Chris Spencer focuses on what has defined them since the late ’80s: cutting, dissonant guitars, a forceful, repetitive rhythm and vocals stretched taut. Lyrics that sit between urban hardness, alienation and social weariness, wrapped in direct, unvarnished songs — here the punch to the gut matters more than the pose.
LVFT from Berlin open the evening. The four-piece links noise rock and post-punk into songs that swing between earworm and nervous energy. Dissonance, feedback-soaked guitars and angular, punky patterns characterise the sound — clearly influenced by Fugazi, Sonic Youth and U.S. Maple, but with its own forward-driving momentum.
From Stuttgart comes Unbite: pure noise rock with clear post-punk edges. For fans of Sonic Youth, The Jesus Lizard, Fugazi and Shellac, the trio delivers a dry, direct variant of the genre, focused on tension, friction and precisely placed breaks.
