Formed in Chicago, French Police carve out a darkwave sound that leans into post‑punk pulse and indie restraint. Led by vocalist‑guitarist Brian Flores with Manny Herrera on lead guitar and Rolando Donjuan on bass, the trio threads wiry guitar lines, steady drum programming and synth flashes, with cool, detached vocals riding heavy bass foundations. Since 2019, they’ve drawn indie and post‑punk crowds with rhythmic guitars and synths that turn melancholy into motion. From their self‑titled debut in 2019 to 2021’s Haunted Castle, the approach stays minimal, melodic and built for movement.
On March 27, 2026 at Neue Zukunft in Berlin, French Police bring that blend to the stage, joined by guests Sad Madonna. The live set leans on hypnotic tempos, clean guitars and sharp synths, channeling the band’s DIY roots and current darkwave energy into a compact, dance‑ready show.
