Femtanyl - Man Bites Dog Tour

Info

On 16 June 2026, femtanyl brings his Man Bites Dog Tour to Uebel & Gefährlich in Hamburg. The Toronto project, now performing as a duo with drummer Juno Callender, interlocks breakcore, digital hardcore and industrial edges with catchy hooks. Live, Callender’s precise, driving drumming gives the material a distinctly physical dimension: cut-up breakbeats, distorted basses, abruptly shifting tempos, and melodies that lodge themselves unexpectedly.

Since the self-released debut EP Chaser (2023), femtanyl has been sharpening a dense, focused sound that draws equally from contemporary club music and from bands like Nine Inch Nails or Throbbing Gristle. Reactor (2024) broadened the palette, among other things featuring Danny Brown. The current album Man Bites Dog (February 2026) provides the structural backbone of the show and concentrates the blend of hardness, pop-inflected moments and coarse textures.

On stage, this electronics meets an idiosyncratic visual language built around the cat figure Token. The set works with contrast and energy, shifting between attack and short respites—no detours, straight to the point.
