Info
The Black Queen celebrates ten years of Fever Daydream with a set that traces the contours of their dark, melodic electro. Formed in Los Angeles by Greg Puciato (The Dillinger Escape Plan), producer Joshua Eustis (Telefon Tel Aviv) and Steven Alexander, the trio blends slow, deliberate rhythms, layered synths and a vocal presence that leans into intimate, R&B‑tinged phrasing. Their debut album Fever Daydream set the tone in 2016: synth‑pop with a new wave backbone, industrial edges and a taste for repetition that lets textures breathe and dynamics shift. Infinite Games later pushed the minimal, atmospheric side; on stage, those contrasts land through live vocals, keyboards and programmed beats that keep the tension steady without rushing the pulse.
For this anniversary show, expect Fever Daydream to take center stage, revisited with the precision and restraint that define the band’s live approach, with room for detours across their catalogue. The Black Queen plays Thursday May 28, 2026 at Lee’s Palace, Toronto.
