Eiffel

Eiffel, the rock project of Romain Humeau — singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer — will be at Le Silex in Auxerre on October 3, 2026. After twelve albums, the band moves beyond conventional boundaries, changing its guise from project to project while keeping the thread of the songs.

On stage, Eiffel draws from a broad spectrum of influences — from Bowie, the Pixies, Lennon–McCartney and Talking Heads to Bach, Brel, Coltrane and Depeche Mode, as well as certain strains of rap and carefully chosen electronic elements — creating a shifting sonic material that sits between rock, pop and classical echoes.

This concert will spotlight La peur et le vent, conceived for the stage: spacious yet raw lyrics, warm vocals, a soul-tinged turn, 80s surges and a deliberate choice to record without machines for a more organic sound. True to the idea that studio and live line-ups can evolve with the music, Eiffel will present these new pieces in resonance with key songs such as À tout moment la rue, Place de mon cœur, Je m’obstine and Beauté du diable.

Having played nearly a thousand concerts in France, Belgium, Quebec and Switzerland, the band maintains a genuine closeness with its audience, the Ahuris, and continues to regard the stage as its preferred realm of expression. Opening act.
