Gilbert Montagné

Gilbert Montagné returns to La Palestre in Le Cannet on October 16, 2027. A singer, songwriter and pianist, he has for decades blended pop, disco and touches of soul around a keyboard that always remains at the centre of his performance. On stage, his unifying energy gets the audience to their feet, balancing straightforward melodies with choruses that are sung along to effortlessly.

For this concert he revisits his signature songs, from his early period marked by "The Fool" to his French hits of the 1980s, while also including new additions to his repertoire. He will in particular present the single "Ça sert à ça", released at the end of 2025, and tracks from L’Amour avec les mains, an album released in 2026 on Universal. The set is clearly conceived for live performance: punchy piano, a dance-pop groove, airy ballads and more soulful passages, all carried by a familiar voice.

An evening for singing together and rediscovering the direct rapport he cultivates with the audience, in a simple and generous format focused on music and sharing.
