On January 9, 2027 at the Théâtre de la Tour Eiffel, Christelle Chollet celebrates 20 years on stage with Culottée, a new one-woman show that blends comedy and music. Accompanied live by her musicians, she shifts from stand-up to song, alternates between characters and intimate confessions, and plays with the sudden changes of tone that are her trademark. She probes our everyday foibles as well as current debates, brings out heroes and anti-heroes, and draws from real life material equal parts for mockery and for emotion. On stage she sketches a gallery of spicy, well-drawn figures, portrays the contradictions of the age and reworks songs to better highlight what annoys, surprises or makes us smile. Culottée is a return to the essentials of her universe: a musical show, energetic and precise, driven by a live band and an unrelenting sense of rhythm.
