Info
Ulrika Spacek bring their exploratory guitar rock to The Dance Cave in Toronto on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Formed in London around songwriter Rhys Edwards, the band works a line where noise, psychedelia and krautrock meet. On stage, they build dense, looping layers of guitars over insistent rhythms, with vocals tucked low in the mix and a focus on texture and momentum. Their set tends to stretch out, favoring long arcs, sudden drops and repeat-heavy motifs that shift gradually rather than explode, moving from art-rock haze to sharper post-punk contours without losing the thread. Since The Album Paranoia (2016) and Modern English Decoration (2017), through the more fragmented Suggestion EP (2018), to Compact Trauma (2023), they’ve refined a sound that plays with dynamic ruptures and subtle electronic colors while staying grounded in a band-in-a-room energy. Expect a set that roams across their catalogue, reshaped for the room, with special guests joining for the night.
