Vishal-Shekhar land at Edmonton EXPO Centre in Edmonton on July 1, 2026. The Mumbai-based composer-producer duo unites Vishal Dadlani, also rooted in India’s rock scene, and Shekhar Ravjiani, classically trained and steeped in filmi melodies. Active in Hindi cinema since the late 1990s, they broke through with Jhankaar Beats in 2003, then signed a string of soundtracks that shaped 2000s and 2010s Bollywood: Dus, Om Shanti Om, Dostana, Anjaana Anjaani, Ra.One, Chennai Express.

Their signature mixes instant hooks and Western pop arrangements with electronic passages built for the dancefloor, while weaving in classical and folk inflections from the subcontinent. Vocal interplay sits at the core: duets, call-and-response, and shifts in tempo and dynamics that pivot from romance to club energy in a single track.

On stage, the pair connect their soundtrack favorites with newer cuts, share lead vocals, and let a live band stretch and sharpen the arrangements. Collaborations are part of their DNA; in concert, they keep that spirit by reworking studio hits into fluid, audience-ready performances that move between big choruses, synth-driven drops, and cinematic swells.
