Thievery Corporation lands at The Bronson in Ottawa on March 21, 2026. Formed in Washington D.C. by Rob Garza and Eric Hilton, the duo forged a downtempo signature that folds trip-hop, dub, bossa nova, reggae, jazz and Middle Eastern colors into a steady, enveloping groove. Early milestones like Sounds from the Thievery Hi-Fi, The Mirror Conspiracy and The Richest Man in Babylon set the tone with guest voices and lush arrangements. The Cosmic Game and Radio Retaliation widen the frame toward Latin, Indian and Middle Eastern influences with a sharper political edge, while Culture of Fear and Saudade explore cinematic moods and bittersweet bossa. The Temple of I & I and Treasures from the Temple deepen their dialogue with Jamaican rhythms.

On stage, Thievery Corporation expands beyond the core duo into a live collective of singers and instrumentalists. The set moves from bass-driven dub to bossa sway and downtempo soul, threading global textures without losing the pulse of the club.
