Mighty Oaks - Tour 2026

Mighty Oaks bring their indie-folk to the Löwensaal in Nuremberg on 12 December 2026. The Berlin-based trio — American Ian Hooper, Italian Claudio Donzelli and Briton Craig Saunders — build their songs around acoustic guitars, clear melodies and three-part harmonies. The lyrics draw on the North American folk tradition: personal and direct, supported by voices that weave together rather than compete for attention.

Since their first releases the band has gradually opened up its sound: Howl (2014) established the blend of folk, pop and light rock accents; Dreamers (2017) expanded the arrangements; All Things Go (2020) and Mexico (2021) add electric and atmospheric colors, without losing their choral vocals. Live, Mighty Oaks focus on intimacy and dynamics: guitars at the center, multi-part vocals up front, and a rhythm that lets the songs breathe between quiet passages and more driving sections. On this tour, new and older songs meet and trace the trio’s development — from their acoustic core to the nuanced layers that now shape their sound.
