On 19 July 2026, Katie Melua will perform at the Parkbühne in Leipzig. The Georgia-born, Britain‑raised songwriter moves between pop, folk and subtle jazz inflections. Live, her warm voice takes centre stage; acoustic guitars, restrained arrangements and clear melodies set the tone. Her repertoire ranges from early material on Call Off the Search and Piece by Piece — including songs such as "Nine Million Bicycles" — to more recent works from Album No. 8 and Love & Money. Since In Winter, recorded with the Gori Women’s Choir, subtle Eastern European colours have also flowed into her music, appearing on stage in dense harmonies and gentle arcs of tension. Without flashy effects, and with a keen sense of dynamics and narrative detail, Melua builds her songs carefully and lets them breathe. A summer evening that brings focused songwriting, pared‑back sonic textures and a distinctive voice to the fore.
